Erwarton Roof

After the lead was (again) stripped of the roof of St Mary’s Erwarton we are pleased that we can replace it with stainless steel. That makes it rather less attractive for thieves to come back to take it off again, it is less expensive than lead but there is still a bill of almost £30.000 attached to the repair work. We would have preferred to spend that a kitchen and a toilet so the church can be used events and community gatherings.
